Day 01
-
Arrive Delhi
On arrival you will be met by our representative and
transferred to the hotel, where we will be holding the
rooms on ready occupancy basis. Stay overnight at the
hotel in Delhi.
Day 02 -
Delhi
Tourists are expected to spend the morning at leisure
according to one's personal discretion. An afternoon
tour of New Delhi will include a visit to the majestic
India Gate, a gaunt Qutab Minar and the historic
Humayun's tomb coupled with a drive past the royal
President House to be followed by the usual overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 03 -
Delhi - Bangalore
Day 3 begins with catching of the connecting flight from
Delhi-Bangalore in the morning. After arrival at
Bangalore and a visit to Mysore, which is a drive of 3
hours from Bangalore, a sightseeing tour of Mysore
follows suit. One can visit the exotically beautiful
Brindaban gardens and the historic and ornately
decorated Mysore palace, too as part of the whole tour.
The day ends with an overnight stay at one of the local
hotels.
Day 04 -
Bangalore - Nagarhole National Park
Day 4 begins with reaching the Nagarhole national park,
which is located at a distance of 80 kilometers from
Bangalore. A wildlife trip on the afternoon jeep safari
trip is followed by an overnight stay at the local
wildlife hotel.
Day 05 -
Nagarhole National Park
Early morning wildlife tours and bird screening in the
park or a Coracle ride on the Kabini River are the
engagements which kick start an eventful day 5 of the
tour. Enjoy an evening jeep ride or an Elephant ride
into the Nagarhole jungle with the day culminating with
an overnight halt at the local lodge.
Day 06 -
Nagarhole National Park - BR Hills
Day 6 begins with an eventful and exciting trekking in B
R Hills for witnessing the spectacular wildlife of the
region. An overnight stay follows in the specially
provided tents.
Day 07 -
BR Hills
Day 7 is another day of morning and evening wildlife
viewing and strenuous bird watching. An overnight stay
in the tents follows suit to round up the day's
activities.
Day 08 -
BR Hills - Bandipur National Park
Day 8 includes within its itinerary an early morning
departure to Bandipur which is a 4 hour drive after
devouring a hearty breakfast. A sumptuous lunch at the
resort follows and the afternoon is spent inside the
wildlife sanctuary in jeeps. Overnight stay at the
resort follows suit after the daylong tete a tete with
the wildlife of the region.
Day 09 -
Bandipur National Park
Day 9 includes within its schedule a round of morning
and evening wildlife viewing and bird watching. The day
ends with an overnight stay in the resort.
Day 10 -
Bandipur National Park - Ooty
An early morning drive to Ooty for a distance of 80
kilometers from Bandipur National Park begins the day.
The group arrives in Ooty in the afternoon. Tourists can
spend the rest of the day at their own discretion.
Tourists spend the night in the Bandipur resort.
Day 11 -
Ooty - Munnar - Eravikulam National Park
On day 11, the tourists move towards the legendary hill
station, which is also the spice capital of Kerala,
Munnar. A trip to Eravikulam national park will consume
the rest of the day for a weary tourist with a
subsequent overnight stay in the local resort, ending
the day.
Day - 12

Eravikulam National Park - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
A morning visit to the national park for wildlife sights
will include a drive to Periyar in the afternoon which
happens to be a run of 3 hours. A preplanned overnight
stay in the locally available resort will round off the
day.
Day - 13 -
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
A morning and evening boat cruise is the star attraction
of the sanctuary with the whole concoction being made
too good to neglect as one is witness to the regaling
sight of wild elephants pleasing themselves in the lake
or one can opt for the antics of the domestic and
migratory birds, also. Overnight stay in the local hotel
ends the day on a relaxing note.
Day - 14 -
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - Kumarakom
The group reaches Kumarakom early in the morning after a
long drive of 5 hours. Arrival at Kumarakom leads to the
tourists spending the rest of the day at their own
comfort. Overnight stay in the resort, ends the day on a
satisfying note.
Day - 15 -
Kumarakoram Bird Sanctuary
A gratifying backwater cruise coupled with an evening
visit to the picturesque Kumarakoram Bird Sanctuary form
the staple for Day 15 of the wildlife tour. Night time
is spent with an overnight stay at the resort.
Day - 16 -
Kumarakoram Bird Sanctuary - Kochi - Onward
Destination
A drive down to Kochi lasts a full 3 hours to be
followed by a full day of touring the city destinations
of Kochi. Tourists are moved to city airport for the
home ward journey to be undertaken by the enjoying and
high-spirited tourists. |
